What is the story of Menendez Brothers: Murderers of their Parents?
Menendez Brothers: Murderers of their Parents recalls the real case of the brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez who, afraid of losing the privileges of being born into a wealthy family because of inappropriate behavior, planned and murdered their own parents, Joseph and Maria “Kitty” Menendezwhen they were 21 and 18 years old, respectively.
In March 1996, both were sentenced to life in prison. Despite claims that the crime was motivated by greed, Lyle and Erik defended themselves by saying that they had suffered physical, psychological and sexual abuse at the hands of their parents. Watch the trailer:
