According to data from Samba TVfour days after the premiere, 902 thousand homes in the United States watched the first episode of the second season of the series, produced by Prime Video. By comparison, in the first season, the first episode was seen by 1.8 million households. That was a drop of about 50% in viewership.
Although, Samba TV did not include viewership from mobile devices, but does include viewing statistics from over three million televisions. To date, Amazon has not shared any of its own data regarding season 2 numbers. In 2023, it was reported as The Rings of Power provided the platform’s largest debut audience at the time.
