The DC Universe has entered a new phase

ON his accountJames Gunn revealed that the animated series Creature Command will be the first story offered to fans by DC Studios. She will focus on a bunch of monstersincluding Eric Frankenstein and The Bride. Recruited in prison by Amanda Waller, the troop will have to perform missions too dangerous for humans. A plot reminiscent of that of The Suicide Squad.
Asked by Entertainment WeeklyJames Gunn explained that his Superman movie was “the real beginning of everything” within the new DC Universe. But according to him, Creature Command will allow fans to have a first taste of this new universe. He described the series as “A wonderfully fun way to start.” And he promised it contained “many references to other DC material and some suggestions on some things to come. »
A launch planned for early December
Creature Command will officially launch the DC Universe next December 5thdate of the arrival on Max of its first episode. Then, every week a new episode will arrive on the streaming platform HBO. The seventh and final will be released online on January 16, 2025. Several months later, the James Gunn film will be revealed. Superman will come out July 9, 2025 in French cinemas.
