It was delirium and madness. I was panicking in my head that I would be considered an attractive man. That’s what I thought when I was 23. What I stupidly didn’t realize was the complexity of this role. But to be honest, I just wanted to be taken seriously.
Before accepting the role of Dickie Greenleaf, Jude Law feared that he would only be offered roles of attractive, but not necessarily interesting, characters. But his participation in Anthony Minghella’s feature film undoubtedly had him the opposite effect. Because the actor later received many interesting proposals. And he has had the opportunity to play various characters in films of different genres.
