Greek actress Evangelia Syriopoulou has spoken publicly about her relationship with her husband, Stratos Patsatzis, explaining that while initial infatuation fades over time, deep and powerful feelings continue to keep them united. Syriopoulou discussed her marriage and family life during an appearance on the morning television show Proino on Tuesday, September 29.
The couple have been together for 17 years and share two children. Syriopoulou emphasized during the broadcast that she has never stopped admiring her husband throughout their time together.
When asked whether romance fades over time and what secret keeps a relationship successful, Syriopoulou stated that no secret exists. She described the relationship as a magical moment of being together in life and choosing to share a journey with another person.
Admiration, respect, and love do not stop as time goes on, according to Syriopoulou. She explained that initial passion eventually gives way to deeper emotions that make a couple want to spend their entire lives together.
Family Life and Daily Routine
Syriopoulou also spoke about the timing of her marriage and starting a family. She said that she did not marry at a very young age, choosing instead to wait until both she and Patsatzis were established and felt ready to take that step.
Once the couple felt settled on their feet and shared a strong desire to build a family, they decided to have children. They are now parents to two young boys, aged five and two.
Managing daily life with two energetic young sons requires a careful balance, Syriopoulou noted. She described herself as someone who values schedules and clear boundaries while still encouraging plenty of play at home.
The actress added with humor that she is currently adjusting to playing lots of football with her sons. She described the boys as lively, spending their time playing with toy cars, running around, and jumping.
Life Outside the Entertainment Industry
Syriopoulou also shared details about her husband's career, clarifying that Patsatzis does not work in show business. He is employed in finance and serves as an executive at a company.
Despite working outside the entertainment sector, Patsatzis maintains a strong interest in theatre and cinema, Syriopoulou said.
