The True Story of Colton Burpo
The film is based on the true story of Colton Burpo, a four-year-old boy who, after emergency surgery, claims to have lived a near-death experience and visited heaven. His parents, including his father Todd Burpo, a pastor played by Greg Kinnear, are initially skeptical, but Colton’s detailed accounts, including descriptions of angels and encounters with deceased family members, eventually convince his family that his experience is real.
