LatinGeisha presents, live, “The Year of the Dragon”, its second album. When? This Friday, September 13. Where? At the Uniclub (Guardia Vieja 3360, CABA).
In “Year of the Dragon,” LatinGeisha presents herself as a neighborhood girl who sometimes plays suburban star, and she seems more settled than in her predecessor, “Ble$$Ed.”
On this album, LatinGeisha asks neither permission nor excuses, he stands up and dares to speak and live in his truth. In his lyrics, stories of glamour and genius mix with the reality of the suburbs, the contrast between the stage where the spotlights illuminate him and what happens behind closed doors when no one sees him.
“The Year of the Dragon” features 10 songs that range from disco, funk, hip-hop, pop and trap.
And there will be all of that this Friday, for which LatinGeisha is preparing a powerful show, with a live band to play with the rhythms of jazz mixed with the world of hip-hop and the art of sampling with nods to urban-pop, soul, disco music and R&B.
An evening to harangue and dance between rock, distortion and sensuality.
