Robin Hood’s appearances in the works are countless. The legendary and fictional hero, who steals from the rich to give to the poor, has made a place for himself in literature, theater, comics and cinema. Soon a new actor will play this legendary character. Only this time it won’t be a film, but of a series. It won’t be the first time since Robin Hood has been the focus of numerous television works in the past. However, a large-scale series dedicated to the hero could prove relevant. It was the MGM+ service that decided to bring Robin Hood back to the screens. And despite the project having just been announced by Expiration, the broadcast is scheduled for 2025Led by showrunner John Glenn (SEAL Team), the next production will be composed ten episodes and will try to revisit the myth. After the Norman invasion of England, Rob, the son of a Saxon forester, and Marianne, the daughter of a Norman lord, fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. While Rob becomes the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marianne infiltrates the power at court, while the two work together to fight royal corruption and bring peace to the land.

The series will then be broadcast on MGM+, available in the United States and several European countries. In France, the service’s programs are available on Prime Video. We don’t yet know who will play the new Robin Hood. But The actor’s name should be revealed soon.
