Over the past few months she has gradually integrated new programs into her repertoire, like another vampire series in the vampire academy adaptation and is currently developing five other new programs at Universal Television, in addition to other projects already underway.

According to THR, Plec has five new scripted programs in development at Universal Television, the studio where his production company My So-Called Company has been based for the past two years. Finally, let’s go back to a darker theme for this wild song. The romantic horror fantasy is based on the novel of the same name by Victoria Schwab and the TV series will follow two teenagers into a world where violence is responsible for the creation of literal monsters. Schwab is ready to adapt this wild song along with Julie Plec, who will executive produce with Emily Cummins and Gina Marcheschi.

Peacock Shows previously announced by Julie Plec

Even though four of Julie Plec’s previous new shows don’t have a confirmed home, we know clifton it will be in Peacock, where it will join vampire academy Yes dead day. First announced last year, vampire academy is an adaptation of Richelle Mead’s young adult book series, with Plec and collaborator Marguerite MacIntyre as co-showrunner. The series will debut on September 15 on Peacock and will consist of 10 episodes for the first season, starring Sisi Stringer, Daniela Nieves, Kieron Moore and André Dae Kim.

The other Plec Peacock series, dead day, was announced in January of this year. The series, which comes from her and RST co-creator Kevin Williamson, is an adaptation of the Ryan Parrott comic. So far not much is known dead daybut it will be coming to Peacock soon, so hopefully more news will be announced soon.

Other Julie Plec projects currently in preparation

It’s hard to believe, but these aren’t the only projects Julie Plec has in the works. she also has The girls on the bus is coming to HBO Max. The series is inspired by the eponymous chapter in Chasing Hillary: Ten years, two presidential campaigns and an uninterrupted glass ceiling. Earlier this week it was announced that Christina Elmore will star in the seriesalong with Melissa Benoist and Natasha Behnam.

Plec is also working on a new show on Netflix, Confessions of an addicted high school teacher. The series will bring it together RST veterinarian Paul Wesley. The dark comedy will premiere later this year, though an official date has yet to be announced.

Time bequestsThe surprise cancellation was heartbreaking, it seems to have been a blessing in disguise for Julie Plec. And it is still possible that she may return to the RST one day in franchising, but for now it seems she has focused on many of her other projects.
