hulu ordered RapCaviar Gifts, A documentary series from Spotify’s IPC studio and Sony Pictures Television that explores key cultural issues from the perspective of some of today’s top hip-hop artists.
Rap Caviar gifts It takes its name from the influential Spotify playlist, which has over 14 million users. The RapCaviar playlist was first released in 2015 and is often credited with boosting the careers of emerging artists whose songs are selected to appear in the mix alongside other established artists.
Debuting later this year on Hulu, Rap Caviar gifts Artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Jack Harlow, Megan T. Stallion, Doja Cat, Soviet and Roddy Rich will perform.
Karam Gil (Supervillain: The Creation of Tekashi 6ix9ine) serves as executive producer and creative director along with the Av Accius co-EPs (murder at headquarters) and Marcus A. Clark (Blood Brothers: Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali). Steve Rivero (You are watching Video Music Box) is attached as showrunner. Gill, Keith McWhirter, Peter J. Skeletari, Farah X and Mandon Lovett will also serve as episode directors.
Spotify executives Carl Cherry and Liz Gately, as well as IPC co-founders Eli Holtzman and Aaron Seidman, oversee the creation. Rap Caviar gifts series on behalf of their respective companies.
