The most expensive series ever produced, The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power launched in September 2022. Filming date for sequel revealed

Charlotte Brändström directed four of the eight episodes of the second season of The Rings of Power. She was recently questioned by First on the sequel to the show created by John D. Payne and Patrick McKay. She confided it writing for the third season had begun. And he provided another important piece of information with a date for filming :

The pump is already primed. Writing for the third season has begun. And we will shoot in 2025.

Charlotte Brändström also spoke about her potential participation in the continuation of the adventure. A 2026 release for season 3?
