The films Bad boys are among the most popular in Will Smith’s filmography. Launched in 1995, the franchise has expanded with three sequels, the latest of which came out last June. In total, the four feature films presented more than a billion dollars at the global box office.
The association between Will Smith and Michael Bay was therefore very productive. The director signed the first two films of the saga Bad boys. He then handed over to Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. The two are close to getting back together
As explained last May, Will Smith’s next project was originally supposed to be Sugar bandits. But second Expiration, the actor abandoned this film. Instead, he will be the protagonist of another action feature film, scheduled for Netflix: Fast and loose. Gold, Michael Bay is expected to direct it.
Again according to information from Expirationhe is the director in very advanced negotiations to direct the feature film. His participation in the project could therefore soon be official. If this is confirmed, he will reunite with Will Smith just over twenty years after he last directed him Bad Boys 2.
Fast and loosea thriller about a man without memories
The story of Fast and loose will follow a man who wakes up in Tijuanain Mexico, without memory. As he begins to piece together the puzzle of his life, he discovers that he was the leader a double life. One like crime boss and the other similar undercover CIA agent. The screenplay for the feature film was written by brothers Jon and Erich Hoeber, as well as Eric Pearson and Chris Bremner, who also worked on the last two Bad boys.
No shooting or release date has been announced yet. For Fast and loose. Expiration it simply states that this will undoubtedly be the next project on Will Smith and Michael Bay’s calendar. We can therefore expect filming to take place in 2025.
