Over seven states in northeastern Brazil, 45 days and 5 thousand kilometers, the documentary series Gonzagueanspresented by Daniel Gonzaga and Carolina Albuquerqueproduced by Hot Goat Movies and directed by Zé Eduardo Miglioliseeks to show the impact of Luiz Gonzaga in Brazil to this day.
It is worth highlighting how Danielsinger and composer, is the grandson of Luiz Gonzagawhile the producer Carolina is the granddaughter of Anastáciathe Queen of Forró. Recently, the duo officially released the first teaser for the production, which shows the first glimpses of interviews, locations, among others. Watch below:
In a statement to Rolling Stone Brazil, Daniel explained how Gonzagueans seeks to understand and map how much Gonzaga still exists in Brazil, whether in the areas of creation, politics and Brazilian deepening in the area of anthropology.
“Gonzaga It is still a pillar and a source of knowledge, experiences and initiatives. I was lucky to be born into this wonderful family,” he said. “We got together and traveled around seven thousand kilometers from the coast of Recife, Fortaleza, to the interior of Exu, Salgueiro, Serrita… from big cities like Teresina to Bodocó .”
At the end of this journey, I was able to know a little more about my ancestors. I believe that Carolina got to know a little more about hers. We reiterate that Gonzaga continues to be a hub of inventiveness, initiative and creation. This is the series Gonzagueans.
