How? He doesn’t know exactly but he intends to make the third film – initially four are planned -, as declared at the 2024 Venice Film Festival: “Today I don’t know how I’ll do it, but I will“.

And whatever happens next, fourth film or not, he already has a new project planned: the thriller Headhunters.

Surfing and a tribe of headhunters

As reported by ExpirationKevon Costner does this producing, co-writing and acting From Headhunters. This film will be the directorial debut of cinematographer Steven Holleran, who recently worked Sympathy for the devil.

Kevin Costner will be the protagonist Headhunters an American expatriate in Bali, tired and with a mysterious past. As he gathers a group of surfers to find the perfect wave on an unknown island, they come face to face with an ancient tribe of headhunters…

A little about Breaking point with surfing and “the perfect wave”, and probably a horrible and trendy treatment of this comparison since this local tribe has a tradition of preserving the severed heads of its enemies.
