Responsible for interpreting Penny in the 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory, sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, Kaley Cuoco revealed how he would accept to reprise the role for a possible reboot of the series, also starring Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter), Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz), Mayim Bialik (Amy Farrah Fowler), Kunal Nayyar (Rajesh Koothrappali) and Melissa Rauch (Bernadette Maryann Rostenkowski).
In an interview with People to talk about career and next steps in Hollywoodthe 38-year-old artist recalled the period in which she performed Penny. “I spent 12 years playing this role and it really boosted my career. I owe a lot to this character, this series, the Chuck Lorre,” he stated.
Furthermore, Cuoco explained how the 12 seasons represent “some of the best years of my life and some of the most fun I’ve ever had.” Then, she was asked if she would ever agree to reprise the role of Penny.
I would absolutely reprise that role. 100 percent. I love this character and always will.
