Adapted from the book by Mercedes Ron, Against the current was released in 2023 on Prime Video. The film focuses on Noaha teenager who moves to live with her mother in her stepfather’s villa. We meet there his new stepbrother, Nick. The two teenagers initially have a lot of trouble getting along. But little by little they begin to be strongly attracted to each other.
