With two shows in front of a packed house, Axel performed this weekend at the Opéra Théâtre and opened his “25 Tour”, the tour with which he will travel the country to celebrate his 25 years of experience.

The artist surprised with a completely new show, which plunged the audience into a unique journey. Under the musical direction of Maxi Espíndola (MYA), The repertoire was full of classics interpreted in new versions.

The shows began with “El Motivo”, an extract from his new album “Vuelve”, the kick-off to immerse ourselves in this new personal and musical stage of Axel.

A few minutes after going on stage, he stopped to say a few words: “In my heart lives the romantic idea of ​​return, but no… Return is impossible, we cannot return to the same place where l ‘we were because the place and one is already another. What I want is to start again, and I want to do it with you! “I want us to accompany each other and write a new chapter of this wonderful life together,” he said, his voice breaking.

Accompanied by his musicians, Chino Asencio (guitar), Ale Conde (bass), Ezequiel Díaz (drums), Lisandro Nieto (guitars and backing vocals), Diego Cardero (electric guitar), Tony Cortez (trumpet and flugelhorn), Leo Richie Díaz ( saxophone), Axel traveled for two hours through his musical history with the most representative songs.

“Looks”, “Affinity” and “I’m thinking of you”, For example, they were part of the first section of the repertoire which, from the beginning, was accompanied by audience singing.

A special and original moment occurred in the middle of the shows, when he sang his mega classic “Amo”, which aroused the enthusiasm of his fans.

Also in “Te voy a amar”, where Axel got off stage to get closer to the audience. “All my world”, “Comment te le dire”, “Si je peut”, “Je chute in amour”, among others, were part of an intimate block performed only on the piano.

For the closing, the anthems “Celebrate Life” and “Your Love Forever” were played. with which he concluded two nights full of hope and rebirth, two elements that have always characterized his music.
