Jac Schaeffer, creator and showrunner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe miniseries, revealed why there were no extra sequences
Quite common in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, extra scenes are in most of the franchise’s productions, but were left out of Agatha Ever Afterwhich recently came to an end.
In an interview with EntertainmentWeekly, Jac Schaeffercreator and showrunner of the miniseries, revealed that he wrote some post-credits scenes, but Marvel vetoed their inclusion in Agatha Ever After:
“I wrote a series of post-credits scenes, as I’ve done on every Marvel project I’ve worked on, because it’s the one that changes the most and lasts the longest like a question mark until you’re finally confronted with it. Ultimately, it was Marvel’s decision not to do that with this series.”he explained.
What is the story of Agatha Ever After?
In history, Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story) is alone and without her powers — thanks to the spell of Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) at the end of WandaVision —, until a mysterious teenager (Joe Locke, Heartstopper) frees her so she can help him walk the Witches’ Path.
To fulfill the young man’s request, Agatha Go out in search of your own covenbringing together an unconventional group of witches to face the magical challenge and full of trials, which will reward whoever survives it with everything they lack.
In addition to Kathryn Hahn and Joe Locke, THEgatha Since Always still has Aubrey Plaza (Megalopolis) as Rio Vidal, Patti LuPone(American Horror Story) as Lilia Calderu, Sasheer Zamata (Spree: Travel without Limits) as Jennifer Kale, Ali Ahn (Billions) as Alice Wu and Debra Jo Ruppwhich returns as Sharon Davis/Mrs. Hartfrom WandaVision.
