Jac Schaeffer revealed that there were talks to include Teddy Altman in the plot, but the idea was discarded due to Marvel’s decision
Jac Schaeffercreator and showrunner of Agatha Ever Afterthe most recent production of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed that there were talks to include Hulklingboyfriend of Wiccan (Joe Locke, Heartstopper), in the story, but Marvel vetoed the idea.
“There were initial conversations about Hulkling. Eddie [namorado de Wiccano na série] originally it would be called Teddy [Altman, nome verdadeiro de Hulkling]because we were analyzing the conceptual arts and thinking about it”revealed Schaeffer in an interview with EntertainmentWeekly.
“There was a decision by Marvel not to have the character as Hulkling for plot-related reasons. In our series, he is not Hulklingbut we changed [o nome] to Eddie because it’s named after a person who’s important to the writers’ room. It wasn’t to provoke the fans [com a semelhança sonora]it was one of those lovely tributes to someone who matters to us”he completed.
