In a teaser published on social media by Stranger Thingsthe Netflix released the names of the eight episodes of the series’ fifth season.
The titles likely left fans curious, speculating about what to expect from the final season, which is expected to hit the streaming platform in 2025.

Other titles include “The Trap”, “Shock treatment” and “The Escape from Camazotz”. Perhaps fittingly, the series, which focused on an alternate dimension known as the Upside Down, will conclude with a final episode called “The ‘Right’ World”.
In the teaser, after all eight titles are revealed, a new set of text appears and reads: “In the fall of 1987, one last adventure begins…”
Production on the final season of Stranger Things began at the beginning of the year, after being postponed due to the 2023 writer and actor strikes.
In February 2022, before the fourth season premieres, the creators Matt and Ross Dufferannounced that the popular sci-fi series released in 2016 would come to an end after the fifth season.
Throughout the year, some behind-the-scenes photos of the production emerged, while the star David Harbor recently spoke about the emotional reading of the script for this final episode.
The end of this episode, when we were reading it — just us reading it — halfway through, people started crying,” he said on the podcast Happy Sad Confused. “So for the last 20 minutes, it was just uncontrollable crying, waves of different people.”
Harbor added:
It’s such a good episode, and it’s such a good season. You’ll love it.”
He also called the ending “the best episode they’ve ever done” and concluded, “they land the plane.”
