Don’t Move: The #1 Movie on Netflix in the World
The thriller arrives on Netflix on October 25th Don’t move produced by Sam Raimi quickly established itself on platforms around the world.
The film directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto initially aroused curiosity for its intriguing tone : A young woman, Iris (played by Kelsey Asbille), is unable to recover from the accidental death of her baby, who fell off a cliff while she was present.
One morning he returns to the place where a commemoration is being held and meet Riccardoa charming young man, who manages to convince her not to commit suicide.
But this meeting will soon turn into a nightmare when Richard turns out to be a serial killer who gives him the injection a numbing product. She therefore only has a few minutes to escape before she is completely paralyzed. A race against time begins when the product enters his body.
Almost 50 million views in two weeks
In just 48 hours, Don’t move it has totaled more than 20 million views, and has established itself as the most watched Netflix film in the world in the period from 21 to 27 October. In the second week (October 28 to November 3) the film was viewed 28 million times, for a total of almost 50 million views in just one week.
It should be surpassed this week by another thriller, Cutting timewhich has surpassed the Top 10 in several countries around the world and which has already accumulated almost 23 million views in just 48 hours (i.e. slightly ahead of Don’t move).
Two great successes that demonstrate the public’s appetite for genre films, still very present on platforms (and unfortunately less and less in theatres).
