The universe ofHarry Potter ready to invade the small screen
The magical world of one of the most famous sagas of all time will return to the screen. Twelve years after the release of the last film in the series, a series Harry Potter has been officially announced in April 2023. This is expected seven seasonseach corresponding to a book in the saga. It will be broadcast on HBO.

Mark Rylance is the favorite to play Dumbledore
According to information from Variety, Mark Rylance is the first choice of Warner Bros. decision makers to play Albus Dumbledore in the new series Harry Potter. They have not yet entered into concrete negotiations with the actor. But they contacted him to gauge his interest and availability.
Contacted by VarietyHBO declined to comment on the matter. The channel simply explained that it would provide information about the series only when the agreements have been made “finalized” with interested people. In other words, we will have to wait for official communication to know if Mark Rylance will really be the next Dumbledore.
The same formula as that of the films?
The fact that Warner Bros. Mark Rylance seems to indicate that the studio wants to use him the same formula as the films for the casting of his series Harry Potter. This is to say mixing newcomers with established actors. If the interpreters of the Hogwarts students were to be previously unknown actors, they would therefore have to be faced with big names.
