Comedian Craig Robinson says he is safe after being evacuated from a North Carolina comedy club on Saturday after a suspect entered the building at gunpoint.

“Comedy Zone will be taking a short break, therefore tonight’s show has been cancelled,” the statement read. “We look forward to laughing with you later this week.”
In a video he shared to Instagram on Saturday night, taken from the audience at a nearby Big Time Rush concert, Robinson confirmed he was “safe”.
“It was an active shooter comedy club so they took us to this show and Big Time Rush,” he explained. “We have to jump here.”
“It’s great. We’re chilling. It was just wild. I was in the green room and they [were] Like, ‘everybody out,'” he later said in the video. “It was definitely a moment.”
