Wilson he also reunites with Biff Tannen and other members of his family, and Leah Thompson she plays Lorraine again. However, the interpreters of Marty’s girlfriend and father change. Old Biff was supposed to disappear in 2015 after returning to the past

Time travel movies are always very risky from a narrative perspective, as it is difficult to remain coherent when manipulating time. AND Back to the Future 2 is no exception. The feature film introduces the older version of Biff. And when he discovers the DeLorean and sports almanac Marty purchased in 2015, he decides to travel back to 1955 to give the album to his younger self to improve his life. After initially being skeptical about the old man’s arrival, young Biff ends up following his advice and betting on the winners of different sports. He then becomes a billionaire, which inevitably changes its future. But the film makes a mistake when the old Biff returns in 2015.

The latter then returned to the future where Marty and Doc must fix the mistake of the high school student’s son and Jennifer. But at the beginning of the saga, Doc clearly explains that a person’s future changes if their past changes. However, after returning in 1985 to give the almanac its adolescent version, Biff returns to the 2015 he has always known to put the DeLorean in its place and not arouse the suspicions of the two main protagonists. But since, as we discover upon their return in 1985, young Biff has become a billionaire, old Biff shouldn’t have existed in this version of times. The character should have disappeared completely from this era.

Robert Zemeckis himself, however, noticed this mistake, since he corrected it. In one of the deleted scenes of the film, available at the top of the article, we can indeed see the old Biff disappearing after returning in 2015.
