The sixth season of the Karate Kid spin-off was divided into three parts

Launched in 2018, the series Cobra Kai is currently in its 6th and final season. However, for the final stage, the producers of the spin-off Karate Kid (1984) adopted a different launch strategy, divided into three parts.

The first wave of episodes premiered in July. The second, with chapters 6 to 10, reached the Netflix this Friday (15).

And the third part will be for next year. According to the website DiscussingFilmthe last stage of the 6th season of Cobra Kai will be released on February 13, 2025.

Set 30 years after Karate KidCobra Kai continues the old rivalry between the characters DanielLaRusso and JohnnyLawrencethis time, showing in more depth other sides that the public had not known until then.

Full of references from the films, the series features members of the original cast and was created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg as a production of YouTubebefore being purchased by Netflix.

Various fans of Cobra Kai were taken by surprise with the announcement that the series would end with season 6. The platform is famous for canceling several productions, regardless of popularity or quality, but the company has nothing to do with the end of production.

In a post on X, Jon Hurwitz revealed what his reaction was to the end of Cobra Kai in the sixth year.

Netflix didn’t tell us it was the last season. We were the ones who told them it was the end. We always wanted to end Cobra Kai on our own terms and we are grateful to have the opportunity to do so. But, that doesn’t mean we’re done with the Miyagiverse. We love this world.”

The main cast includes names like Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo MaridueƱa, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan and Peyton List. The series is also executive produced by Will Smith, James Lassiter and Caleb Pinkett.
