Emily stays in Paris for season five!
A simple image from the final episode of the fourth season was enough to sow doubts in the hearts of fans of the Netflix series Emily in Paris. Emily Cooper has deleted her Instagram account similar to the name of the series, keeping only @EmilyIn and leaving doubts about her future at home.
In fact, this season 4 finale had been a small revolution: Emily had been assigned by Sylvie to manage the brand new office of the Grateau Agency in Rome. A godsend since Emily she had fallen in love with the handsome Marcello after being (once again) disappointed by Gabriel.
All these changes therefore foreshadowed that Emilia would abandon Paris to settle permanently in Rome. But did we really want to participate? Emilia in Rome ? Netflix has finally decided, and Emmanuel Macron’s efforts will not have been in vain. The fifth season of the series will take place in Paris according to information revealed by Variety. Some episodes will be filmed in Rome, but the flagship series will not move to the country of pasta. And that’s so much better.
Filming of the fifth season is expected to begin in May in the capital.
Gabriele returns
Variety also reveals that Lucas Bravo will indeed return to play Gabriel in season five. His the future was uncertain after the actor shot the writers of the series. In fact, he found his character’s arc becoming ridiculous, and he, unbearable (hard to argue with that). But it seems that despite these criticisms, the series team still wants him to continue the adventure.
We can therefore expect Emily sails between Paris and Rome, and between Gabriele and Marcello, for this season 5. She should also leave to discover a new destination, after Saint-Tropez and Megève, but which we know nothing about.
With filming scheduled for spring 2025, we can expect a late 2025 airing for season 5 ofEmily in Paris.
