After announcing a show at the Arena Stadium and releasing his album “Tu Patrona de Lujo”, La Joaqui closes 2024 with the premiere of “Bandidas Retiradas”, her new single.
With this song, the singer returns to her neighborhood, where she started doing RKT. And that’s no way of saying it, eh. In fact, she produced the video clip in Lugano and Bajo Flores, with Gusy DJ and Alan Gómez, producers who have accompanied her since the start of her career.
“The places where I recorded have to do with the sustainability of a concept. I can go anywhere, but I will always leave where I come from and that is my greatest achievement and my greatest pride” , said La Joaqui during the filming of the clip.
For her, returning to her roots is a reminder of how she managed to overcome barriers and achieve her dreams, something she didn’t always think possible. “For a long time I thought there were places I wasn’t going to go because I had left where I came from, so It’s my reminder that I can go anywhere I want.. And it’s also a tribute to the people who made me someone, which is why it’s crucial for me to go back,” he added.
With “Bandidas Retiradas”, La Joaqui returns to the RKT style which marked his debut, recalling songs like “Butakera” and “Dos Besitos”.
