According to CBS Mornings, Cassandra Reeder, mother of young Brody, took to social media to express her frustration and sadness that her son was being bullied at school and no one wanted to sign his infamous “year” in his school yearbook.
The story quickly went viral and eventually caught the attention of Paul Rudd, who immediately wrote to Brody, calling him “the coolest kid ever.” The actress and the boy then exchanged touching text messages: “You’re my favorite superhero,” Brody wrote, to which Paul Rudd replied, “You’re mine.”
