The announcement of the new season of Break relied on an unusual strategy.

On Tuesday the 14th, the actors Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Tramell Tillman and Patricia Arquette played their respective characters — Mark Scout, Helly Riggs, Dylan George, Seth Milchick and Harmony Cobel — on a set set up at Grand Central Station, in New York.

Ben Stillerdirector and executive producer of the series, attended the event and was seen photographing and recording videos of the cast holed up in a fictional office. Check it out below:

What is the story of Break?

In Breakfrom the point of view of Mark (Adam Scott), we know Lumen Industries, which promotes balance between people’s personal and professional lives through an experimental process in which memories are surgically separated.

When they are in the office, employees only have memories of work. When they finish their shift, they don’t remember their professional situations. In a preview of the second year, we see Mark returning to the office after the events that ended the first season of the series.

When does the 2nd season of Break?

The second season of Breakwhich features additions to the cast of Gwendoline Christie (Wandinha), Aliaa Shawkat (Drag Development) and Merritt Wever (Unbelievable), premieres on January 17, 2025 on Apple TV+. Watch the new trailer:
