Former Power Rangers Actor Skylar DeLeon Sentenced to Death for Double Murder

With the help of his wife and three other accomplices, Skylar DeLeon killed a couple in 2004

Known for acting in the series power Rangers (1993-1996), John Julius Jacobson Jr. – also identified by the name of Skylar DeLeon –, 42, was sentenced to death for double murder after a trial in California, USA. (via WHO)

In the early 2000s, actor and wife, Jennifer Henderson, they carried out petty thefts. In 2004, they approached the couple Thomas Hawks and Jackie Hawkswho was selling a yacht, to pull off a robbery.

On a date in Newport Beach Harbor, DeLeon, Henderson and three other accomplices attacked the couple that owned the boat, tying them up and throwing them overboard. The bodies were not found, but the actor confessed to the crimes years later.

DeLeon was sentenced to death by lethal injection, but with California ending the death penalty in 2019, the actor is expected to be on death row for years to come. While his wife received a life sentence with no possibility of parole.
