Continue still very popular among Netflix subscribers
On December 13, Netflix released a new action film whose plot resembles that of Die hard 1 : Continue. The film focuses on Ethan Kopek, security officer at an airport. As the end-of-year holidays approach, it is contacted by a mysterious man. He asks her allow the passage of a suitcase on board an airplane. If Ethan doesn’t comply, the man who contacted him will attack his girlfriend, Nora…
Expected as a probable success before its release, Continue quickly confirmed this status. A few days after his release, he occupied the number one position for most-watched films on Netflix in most territories. More than a month has passed since then. And Jaume Collet-Serra’s feature film continues to gather views until it hits very hard again.
The film climbs onto the podium!
As shown by the ranking shared by Netflix, Continue now it has been seen more than 160 million times! With such an impressive figure, he passed Adam in time and its 157 million views. And it is now the third most watched film of all time on the streaming platform! Alone Red warning AND Don’t look up do better.
It will be almost impossible for Continue to search for the record held by Red warning. Published during the confinement in 2021, it has collected more than 230 million views! On the other hand, the film by Jaume Collet-Serra can hope to overcome Don’t look up. The latter has 170 million views. Given that the number of views of this ranking is calculated over 91 days, the feature film made by Taron Egerton has excellent chances of getting on the second step of the podium.
Even more impressive figures for Back in action ?
The current period is therefore very prolific for Netflix. Because the streaming platform recently presented another feature film who could do even better than Continue. It’s about Back in actionwhich was presented on January 17th.
This is demonstrated by the data relating to the most viewed films of the week on the platform, Back in action it already accumulates over 46 million views! If it maintains this pace, the feature film directed by Seth Gordon could therefore exceed Continue in the next few weeks.
