The exhibition “Ney Matogrosso”, From Museum of Image and Sound (Mis), which opens to the public on February 21, begins to sell tickets starting this Wednesday, 5. The show is over the 50 years of career one of the biggest names in Brazilian music – since the debut as the singer of the group Dry & Weteven your latest album Naked with my music (2021).

The space is divided into six areas and original items of the singer are displayed, such as costumes, posters and photographs, as well as excerpts of presentations and testimonials. Curator is signed by the Director General of Mis, André Sturmthe Expographic Project is from the architects Juan Cabello Arribas and Viviane Sá and the texts of the exhibition were composed by the journalist Julio Mariaauthor of Ney Matogrosso – The Biographylaunched by Companhia das Letras in 2021. The exhibition has a partnership with the Senac and support from Paris Movies.

It is a great pleasure to be able to bring to visitors to Mis the history of this unique artist of the Brazilian scenario, which follows with the same energy mobilizing the public, ”says André Sturm. “Ney It was the highlight of the 45 -year celebrations of the Misin 2015, when participating in the program Contemporary notestelling the public present stories of your life and career. It was an unforgettable moment and now, ten years later, we bring this new tribute with an unreleased and very special exhibition. ”
