Carioca festival will take place over two weeks in September next year; attractions and full lineup have not yet been released
It is official: Rock world confirmed the Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro to seven September 2026 dates. Every two years, the festival (one of the largest in Brazil) is organized in Olympic Parkin the west of the carioca capital.
Still without full attractions or full lineup released, the event is scheduled for 4 (Friday), 5 (Saturday), 6 (Sunday), 7 (Monday, Brazil’s Independence Day holiday), 11 (Friday), 12 (Saturday) and 13 (Sunday) September.

The last edition of Rock in Rio It took place on 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22 September 2024 and had shows of 21 Savage, Travis Scott, Lulu Santos, Zara Larsson, imagine Dragons, Nx zero, Hermeto Pascoal & Group, Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfold, Deep Purple, Black Pantera, Crypta, Joss Stone, Ed Sheeran, Cyndi Lauper, Karol G, Ivete Sangalo, Katy Perrybetween others.
It is worth remembering how the announcement happened on the closing day of the The Town“Brother” festival of Rock in Rio. This Sunday, 14, at the Interlagos Race Track in São Paulo, the event hosts shows by artists like Iza, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, Jota.pê, Ludmilla, Rachel Reis, Geraldo Azevedo inviting Juliana Linhares, Beautiful and Jacob Collier.
