At this point, it seems pretty clear that the main difference between a “meh” month on Disney + and a good month is whether or not a new Star Wars or Marvel series is replaced. The difference between a good month and a good month is if you get a new Star Wars or Marvel series and if you get both. According to this metric, August 2022 will be an important month for Disney, thanks to She-Hulk: lawyerYes Andor.
But that’s not all the streaming service will add in August. Although Disney + has lost a significant amount of new content, we can’t really complain about the quality of the upcoming content.
Only the first week of August will bring Pixar’s Disney + premiere. Light year. The film struggled in theaters, so it will be interesting to see if, how Charm before that, the audience was just waiting for the broadcast to start. Additionally, we will see various “Sing-Along” versions of popular movies added as separate selections.

The second half of August will add more Sing-Along movies and continue to add new episodes of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, But it’s not important. The important thing is the first episodes of She-Hulk: lawyer. There have been some questions about some potentially problematic CGIs in she-hulk, but one way or another these questions will be solved. And aside from potential glitches, there’s a lot to be excited about in this new series.
Then, on the last day of August, we will see the start of the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel Andor. Same as Obi-Wan Kenobi first, the premiere will consist of two episodes instead of just one.
