Vanesa Mardesena marks her way with “This Bandoneon”His album and, at the same time, a tribute to Raúl Garello.
And it’s not a way of saying, huh. This work actually revives seven original arrangements of Garello, adapted to its tone and a quartet composed of violin, piano, double bass and bandoneon.
Thanks to her vocal coach, Vanesa connected with María Garello, a teacher’s daughter, who facilitated scores and with her singing teacher, she became artistic producer of the project.
The message behind this album is clear: Bring the tango closer to new generationsTransmit the emotion and poetic richness of the genre, and keep the essence of its great representatives.
Throughout her career, Vanesa was influenced by great voices such as Laura Pausini, Mariah Carey, Céline Dion and Whitney Houston in terms of vocal technique. While in Tango, his referents include Eladia Blázquez, the Polish Goyeneche, María Graña and Rubén Juárez, artists whose deep and felt interpretation inspired him.
