The best romantic movies they are often a good place to find this type of entertainment, and netflix subscribers seems to think purple hearts really does the trick. With Sofia Carson as Cassie Salazar, a waitress and musician struggling to afford insulin, and Nicholas Galitzine as Luke Morrow, a Marine who will fight in Iraq. The two devise a plan to get married for perks before going out, and you can probably guess what happens next. Despite all the predictability of the plot, this one Twitter User said the film really hit the mark:

The film is based on Tess Wakefield’s 2017 book of the same name. A little while ago Film adaptations of the book are expected in 2022. and many of these projects are books being adapted for netflix . While on-screen performances sometimes fail to capture the essence of the source material, many TikTok users give this production the book lover’s seal of approval:

From 11 critical reviews onwards rotten tomatoes , purple hearts obtained 27% less than the average. But the general public has spoken and they disagree. With over 100 votes from the audience, the film has a new rating of 84%, with this Twitter user saying you should give up what you’re doing and switch to Netflix:
