Sometimes in life you need a movie that will destroy you, take you completely out of everything that’s going on in the real world and put your emotions on a roller coaster of love, hate, tears, joy and basically … total annihilation. . . The best romantic movies they are often a good place to find this type of entertainment, and netflix subscribers seems to think purple hearts really does the trick. Reactions on social media seem to show that the new film has been tearing viewers apart since its release, but in the best of ways.

purple hearts hit the streaming service on Friday, July 29 and remained one of the The best Netflix movies during the weekend. With Sofia Carson as Cassie Salazar, a waitress and musician struggling to afford insulin, and Nicholas Galitzine as Luke Morrow, a Marine who will fight in Iraq. The two devise a plan to get married for perks before going out, and you can probably guess what happens next. Despite all the predictability of the plot, this one Twitter User said the film really hit the mark:

The film is based on Tess Wakefield’s 2017 book of the same name. A little while ago Film adaptations of the book are expected in 2022. and many of these projects are books being adapted for netflix . From 11 critical reviews onwards rotten tomatoes , purple hearts obtained 27% less than the average. But the general public has spoken and they disagree.
