The Andor series will be set before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
andor prepares for an electrifying and dark battle between the rebels and the Empire in an official trailer released this Monday, August 1st. The arrival of the official trailer also announced the postponement of the series produced by Disney+.
The franchise’s next production Star Wars will spend five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). The story will follow Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) during the creation of the Resistance and the work of spies in this universe.
While Rogue One (2016) explores one of the greatest missions in the history of the galaxy, the series arrives to present the lives of the characters involved in this epic and fatal event, especially from Cassian Andorwho sacrificed himself in the name of the galaxy.
The main setting of the first season will be the planet that andor adopted as his home, from where he will observe the radicalization and rapid expansion of the Empire. The second season will have the responsibility of showing the following four years of history.
