Production will be developed by Dave Ericksonknown for your work in Fear The Walking Deadand will have the executive production of Taylor Sheridancreator of Tulsa Kingand David C. Glasserfrom 101 studios. Before starring in your own series, Jackson will make a special participation in the third season of Tulsa Kingcurrently in production in Atlanta and Oklahoma.
The character of Jackson will be similar to that of Dwight “The General” Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone (Rocky, a fighter), a mobster who, after serving a long prison sentence, is sent to establish a new criminal operation in a different city. In Nola Kingit is expected that Jackson interpret a newly released mobster who takes command of a criminal operation in New Orleans, bringing a new dynamic to the universe of Tulsa King.
The addition of Jackson to the universe of Tulsa King reflects the expansion strategy of the franchise, similar to what was done with Yellowstonealso created by SHERIDAN. With Nola KingParamount+ seeks to explore new narratives within the same universe, offering viewers different perspectives on the world of organized crime. There is no official debut date for the spin-off.
