Tom Holland will star in The Crowded Room, the Apple TV+ series inspired by Billy Milligan
After interpreting the Spider man at the MCU and Nathan Drake in uncharted (2022), Tom Holland appeared with a new look for the next project, the series of Apple TV+, The Crowded Room. With longer hair and 1970s clothes, behind-the-scenes photos show the British actor in the role of Danny Sullivan.

The character is inspired by Billy Milliganalso known as “The Campus Rapist,” who was the first person acquitted of a crime because of Multiple Personality Disorder (also called Dissociative Identity Disorder).
According Screen Rantin the late 1970s, Milligan was tried on various counts of robbery, kidnapping, and rape, but was not convicted of pleading insanity. Several psychiatric hospitals examined him and concluded that he had more than 20 different personalities, with several of them taking the blame for the crimes.
Filming began recently and, for now, there is no premiere date, but according to the website, the production should not reach streaming before 2023. Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Christopher Abbott, Sasha Lane and Emma Laird are also part of the cast.
In addition to acting, Holland is also an executive producer of The Crowded Room. The series will have 10 episodes and could be the last work of Holland for a while, as the actor intends to take a break from his career after the project, as he revealed in an interview with CinePop
“I am going to film a TV show for the apple [The Crowded Room], which I am very excited about. It’s a very, very challenging role written by the incredible Akiva Goldsman and I think the scripts are some of the best I’ve read,” he said.
Holland began his career as an actor during his childhood in films such as The impossible (2012), but the success appeared when he joined the Marvel like the Spider man of MCU in Captain America: Civil War (2016). He has since won three solo films as the hero, as well as appearing in other studio productions.
