Entertainment Season 2 of ‘One Piece’ gets first images; See Teaser

Netflix released the first season of the second season of the live-action One Piece This Sunday, August 10, during the annual celebration of One Piece Day In Tokyo, Japan.

The production was also renewed in advance for Season 3, which will begin filmed later this year in Cape Town, South Africa. Ian Stokes join Joe Tracz as co-showrunner of the new season. Learn more:

What to expect from season two?

According to the synopsis revealed by Netflix, season two returns bringing even more dangerous opponents and risky missions so far. Luffy and the straw hats depart for the extraordinary Grand Line – a legendary stretch of the ocean where danger and enchantment await each curve. In search of the largest treasure in the world, they will face unpredictable seas, bizarre islands and a number of new formidable enemies.

About One Piece

One Piece shows the adventures of a group of pirates led by Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy, Who killed Sara?), a boy who has an elastic body and aims to become “the king of pirates”. To do this, he must find the legendary “One Piece”, a legendary and mysterious treasure capable of making it unbeatable.
