End clap for Venice 2025
After 11 days of celebration of cinema, Venice show closed its 82nd edition and its international jury presented a balanced but conservative record for a competition with political accents, with contemporary monstrosity, parenting, precariousness, emergency and crises as first choices of images and stories brought to the screen. Themes intertwined in many of the 21 films that constituted the competition of this edition of 2025.
The international jury of Venice shows 2025 was composed, under the presidency of Alexander Payne, Stéphane Brizé, Maura Delpero, Cristian Mungiu, Mohammad Rasoulof, Fernanda Torres and Zhao Tao.
