Liniker celebrates the success of Latin Grammy nominations: ‘We are our strength’

In an exclusive statement to Rolling Stone Brasil, singer spoke about the highlight of the cashew album in the main categories of Grammy Latino 2025

If 2024 was a special year for Liniker with the launch of Cashewhis second solo studio album, considered the best national album of the year by Rolling Stone Brazil2025 has been equally grand for the singer, indicated in seven categories of the Latin Grammy 2025.

She was named in the three main categories: Album of the year put Cashew (competes with names like Bad Bunny and CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO), Recording of the year by “By your side”(Dispute with Bad Bunny, Karol G and CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO) and Song of the Year by “Brown velvet”(Recognized alongside Bad Bunny, CA7RIEL & PACO AMOROSO and Karol G).

Furthermore, Liniker Figure in Best Recording Engineering Album, Best contemporary pop album in Portuguese language, Best Urban Interpretation in Portuguese Language and Best song in Portuguese Language.

In exclusive statement to Rolling Stone Brazilthe singer celebrated the indications of her work given by Latin Recording Academyand reflected on the whole journey of the last album.

“I am very happy for this recognition of Academy the CASHEWwhich is the album that has provided me so many beautiful things that brought me seven nominations in such important categories of the awards, ”he said.

I am very happy, feeling very grateful to have decided to make a record like this and had the courage to do so. And it’s good that Brazilian music is being recognized and that we, within Latin America, are our strength, so that we can continue to be a power and to continue existing the way we are.
