New Music Circuit New Paths Announces Edition #04

Circuit connects emerging artists and cultural houses in a four -day script by the state of São Paulo

THE New Music Circuit, New Paths It is back and promises to bring the essence of independent music to four São Paulo cities between October 9 and 12. This is the fourth edition of the traveling platform, which connects emerging artists, the public and the independent concert halls through a state tour.

The line-up of this edition brings: Nakedthe singer Nina Maia in partnership with Francisca Barretoand the group CHOCOCORN AND THE SUGARCANES. The route begins on October 9 in Sao Paulo, at Cineclub Curtain, and goes on the 10th to Sorocaba, asteroid Bar. The journey continues on the 11th in Americana, at Espaço GNU, and the show series ends on the 12th in Campinas, at the Mangueira Collective. Each stop will have a local attraction, which will open the night: Kim & Dramma (São Paulo), Poor Orpheus (Sorocaba), Lighthouse (American) and Parallel to the end (Campinas).

An important novelty of this edition is the gratuity of a first batch of tickets for all dates, subject to stocking. It is recommended to remove tickets in advance. In addition, there is a free entry list specific to trans and non -binary people. The other lots of tickets maintain accessible values, reinforcing the goal of democratizing access to live music.

Naked

Since 2016, Naked They make independent rock with total creative freedom. Contrary to the ready -made formulas, record their own records and mix references of the classic indie with contemporary experiments.

Nina Maia She is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer of São Paulo. Nina collaborated on sound trails of six national feature films, including a stunning version of “I Will Survive”recorded next to the singers Maria Gadú, Iza and Linikerfor the movie All Love Songs (2018). With the singer and songwriter Tiê, Nina composed for the disk Gayalaunched by Tiê in 2017.

His solo career began in 2021 with the single “From within”co-produced by Nina in partnership with Lúcio Maia (Zombie nation). Two years later released the song “I like a sweet taste”with the singer and friend Francisca Barreto and the single and clip “YOUR”. The city of Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP) is the starting point of CHOCOCORN AND THE SUGARCANESBand that is part of the catalog of artists from the music seal and producer +a hits, from Americana (SP). It has been active since 2021 and has gained more and more space in the Brazilian scene with its essence “019”, with an authentic mix of emo with indie.

The quartet has been in a frantic wave of concerts that have undergone 12 national states in publicizing the debut album, Siamese And, between presentations here and there, they begin in this second half of 2025 the pre-production of the second album.

New to the band this year was the release of the reissue of a year anniversary of the debut album (on streaming and on CD), remixed by Capilé (Sugar kane).

With an absolutely authorial and bold approach, the duo blends broken measures and sophisticated harmonies with existential, emotional and imagery letters-frantic flows, spoken moments and theatrical hints alternate to instrumental interludes that merge elements ranging from hip-hop to progressive jazz and rock.

References and influences are multifaceted: from the avant -garde Arrigo Barnabas and Itamar Assumpção to the aggressive energy of Rage Against The Machine and Death Gripsof the rhythmic juggling of Tigran Hamasyan and Avishai Cohen to the poetics of Djong.

Poor Orpheus It is the musical project of Agatha Fortesmulti-instrumentalist, music producer and one of the most prolific artists of Sorocaba and the region. Agatha created the Poor Orpheus In 2021 to expand its artistic expression without limiting itself to a specific genre or style, using it as a common space for its compositions.

Influenced by bands like KING GIZZARD AND THE LIZARD WIZARD and Ty Segallthe project seeks to explore different musical territories to each album, and can vary greatly between each work. The band’s big step took place with the release of the debut album, Could be better2023.

THE Lighthouse Born in 2014 as an intimate project of voice and guitar that sought to transform the singer’s dreams and afflictions RALF RICARDO in music. The songs (still intimate) have gained new nuances and new compositions emerged from the amalgam of experiences of the members who added.

The current training is MATHEUS OLIVEIRA (guitar and voice), Danilo Abreu (battery) and FELIPE RODRIGUES (low). Today, with mature sound with references from emo, indie and MPB, the Lighthouse released the first single in December 2024, “Calm”recorded and mixed in Boomer Studio in Indaiatuba, which illustrates the multifaceted essence of the band’s sound.

Parallel to the endAlternative Rock Duo/Emo de Campinas/SP, is about to release the debut album Nostalgia embraced me and currently publicize the single/clip of “More honest to leave”. With influences of American Football and Death Cab for Cutiethe track was produced by Gabriel Zander in the famous Family Mob Studio, with Leeo Hanna as a sound engineer.

“Our project is long term, as the name implies: parallel to the end. The main goal is to make good records and celebrate our friendship until the end of life! While we are making songs that touch us and thrill us the project is standing,” says the duo.
