Vocalist and guitarist of Ultraje a Rigor was broken with former bandmate, consecrated with Ira!
A very commented fight in Brazilian rock in recent years has come to an end last weekend. Behind the scenes of the Somos Rock festival, in São Paulo, the musicians Roger Moreira and Edgard Scandurra They made the peace.
Roger and Edgard came to work together in the early days of Rigorband that followed under the command of Moreira. Scandurra, in turn, went out to dedicate herself to Iran!formed next to the singer Nasi. Both groups were hugely successful in the 1980s.
In 2020, however, an interview by Edgard to the Phantom pop soured the relationship between them. At the time, the Ira guitarist! He admitted that he did not talk to the leader of Ultraje a rigor, lamented the former colleague’s political position-notorious supporter of former President Jair Bolsonaro-and declared:
“I think deep down people want the good of others. But I can’t imagine a rock artist supporting torture, people who torture others. Either supporting both racial and identity prejudice, or supporting a homophobic government.”
The statement bothered Roger, who, through X/Twitter publications, countered:
“Yes, we have not talked anymore since Edgard founded and was successful with outrage, before becoming a babacha and cursing me around. Always died of envy. Supporting torture your C#, Cretino! Edgard groves to have to talk about the outrage in every interview. Venezuela, in Cuba and the car#lho!
Five years have passed and now the two are at peace. Through your networksRoger released a photo next to Edgard. In the caption, he said:
“We just made up. Edgard apologized for the m#rdas I said of me and I accepted. I preferred that I had denied it in public but I am making public. Now missing Nasi.”

Nasi responds Roger Moreira
Mentioned in Roger Moreira’s post, Nasi had said in an interview of 2024 to the football that could “break the face” of a “right -wing musician”. The singer did not mention names, but the report at the time implied that it was the leader of Ultraje a rigor.
Now, the member of Ira! He manifested again. In video on Instagram Stories (via Igor Miranda website), the artist stated:
“I thought this soap opera was over. Edgard went to talk to Roger at a show. It’s right. Roger, in a wark way, put a picture of him and Edgard saying that Edgard was ‘apologizing for the m#rdas he said’ and cited my name, now, if I missed Nasi, now I’ve not talked about you. You are standing. If you mention my name again in some interview, you will have the consequences.

Through Facebook, Roger Moreira repercussions Nasi’s statement. The vocalist and guitarist of Ultraje a Rigor highlighted:
“In a previous post I said I had made up with Edgard and that now was missing Nasi. But hatred (free and unjustifiable, by the way) that Nasi has for me made him answer that way. Anyway, I can’t control what others feel for me. But you got it all wrong, Nasi.
Already in X/Twitterstated:
“P#Ta, what an asshole. Ok, Nasi, I thought I was being cool to make the way for reconciliation. But F#If, I would really not gain anything from it.”
