Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross debut new collaboration before the debut of ‘Tron: Ares’ in theaters
THE NINE INH NAILS debuted live the songs of the soundtrack Tron: Ares During the premiere of the movie last night at TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The presentation took place under the name NINE INCH NOIZEjoint project with Boys Noize that will also perform in the Coachella Next year.
The film had its premiere with the presence of cast stars as Jared Leto, Greta Lee and Evan Peters on the red carpet. The performance of NINE INCH NOIZE marked the live debut of “Forked reality” and “Shadow Over Me”besides the execution of “AS Alive As You Need Me To Be” and a remix of “The Warning”.

The band recently expanded their tour Peel it back For 2026, bringing arena shows to more cities. On the other hand, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross canceled the FUTURE BLACKinaugural festival focused on composers of film soundtracks they planned to perform. The decision was a consequence of logistical and unforeseen challenges.
The collaboration between NINE INH NAILS and Boys Noize for the trail of Tron: Ares It represents a new chapter in the band’s career, which has a consolidated history in the composition of soundtracks. Reznor and Ross already accumulate several awards for their work in movies like The social network, Soul, rivals and Watchman.
Directed by Joachim Rønning from the script of Jack Thorne (Enola Holmes 2) and Jesse Wigutow (The crow), and with the participation of Jared Leto, Evan Peters, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Greta Lee, Tron: Ares It is scheduled to debut on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The other two films in the franchise- Tron – An Electronic Odyssey and Tron: The Legacy – They are available in Disney+.
