What is the story about?
In a quiet corner of Massachusetts, circa 1970, JB Mooney (Josh O’Connor, Rivals), an unemployed carpenter turned amateur art thief, plans his first big heist. But when everything goes off track, his life starts to fall apart.

In addition to O’Connor, The Mastermind is starred by Alana Haim (Licorice Pizza), John Magaro (Past Lives), Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent), Bill Camp (12 Years a Slave) and Hope Davis (American antihero).
