Aaron Sorkin at the helm of the sequel The social network
Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay for one of the best films of the 2010s The social network. Fifteen years after its release, it’s gearing up his sequel. This time he will not only be the screenwriter but also the director. The movie will be based on Facebook filesa series of articles published in The Wall Street Journal which helped shed light on the reprehensible activities of the most used social network in the world.
Titled The social reckoningthe continuation of The social network will be focused on Frances Haugen, the whistleblower who contacted journalist Jeff Horowitz so warn him about Facebook’s dishonest practices. The film will focus in particular on the bad influence of social networks on teenagers. Or its impact on violence in our society.

The filming of The social reckoning it has now begun. Filming has already taken place in Vancouver, Canada.
