Scrub will return with new episodes
Sitcom set in a medical environment, Scrub aired for ten seasons from 2001 to 2010. The series follows the staff of a hospital, focusing primarily on John Dorian, aka JD. In the first few episodes it is a young intern who debuted at the Sacré-Cœur hospital with Christopher Turk, his best friend and roommate. Accompanied by another intern, Elliot Reidand the nurse Carla Espinosathey find each other quickly at the center of many crazy situations.
Scrub it was a great success when it aired. Especially his first three seasons, followed by an average of more than 10 million viewers. In December 2024 we reported it to you its creator, Bill Lawrence, was working on a reboot. From, new episodes have materialized. And now they have done it a release date.
The reboot will begin airing in February 2026
ABC just revealed the broadcast schedule of several series planned for 2026. And that includes the reboot of Scrub. As reported Varietythe medical sitcom will return February 25, 2026 on the American channel. It will begin broadcasting its new season on this date with its first two episodes. We don’t yet know the total number of episodes of this reboot.

In France the new episodes should be visible onDisney+. They should be released online shortly after their release in the United States, although a release date in France has not yet been announced. ABC also shared a first look at the reboot (seen above). Shows JD and Turk, still played by Zach Braff AND Donald Faison.
All the protagonists will return
Zach Braff and Donald Faison won’t be the only ones returning in the reboot Scrub. Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes AND John C. McGinley They will also return to their respective roles as Elliot, Carla and Perry. At their side, Roberto Maschio AND Phil Lewis will also appear again as Todd and Hooch.
The series will also welcome many actors to star the new interns of the Sacré-Cœur hospital. Ava Bun (A man inside), Jacob Dudmann (Intimidation), David Gridley (All American), Layla Mohammadi (Special Operations: Lioness) AND Amanda Morrow (The Devil Wears Prada 2) will play characters named Serena, Asher, Blake, Amara and Dashana. Vanessa Bayer (Freaky Friday 2: Still in my mother’s shoes) AND Joel Kim Booster (KPop Demon Hunters) two more members of the hospital will camp.
