Filled with black humor, Long live the madness is interested in a former London cocaine dealer anonymous and simply called X. After ceasing his illegal activities, he became the owner of a hotel in Jamaica. But without adrenaline and feeling homesick, he agrees to return to England when given the opportunity to score a great success.

But once he gets there, he realizes that there is also this hard blow particularly dangerous. It will be then in front of other English mobsters, Irish cartels and even Venezuelans. X will therefore have to demonstrate dexterity to get out of this delicate situation.

No connection to the movie Layer cake

JJ Connolly’s book is the continuation of Layer cakewhich in turn was adapted for film. Released in 2005, the film Layer cake was the first feature film of Matthew Vaughn. And the performance of Daniel Craig in the main role attracted the attention of the producers of James Bond to the point of allowing him to play the role of a spy.

However, the movie Long live the madness will have no connection with the Layer cake by Matthew Vaughn. As with most of his feature films, Guy Ritchie is expected to be the screenwriter as well as the director of the feature film. Jason Statham is currently the only actor involved in the project.
