Showrunner Ryan Condall accepted the idea and likened board members picking up the rocks and placing them on plates with an employee watching their work.
“Everyone shows up to work and is ‘in’,” says Condal. “I thought that was really cool. It’s a way of visualizing the established formality of a small council chamber. It’s nice; we have to have what we like in this world.”
Condal added that some of his favorite scenes Game of thrones They were little council scenes, but then he discovered that a group of characters sitting around a table could be one of the most difficult scenes to write. Based on the reaction of critics and fans to the premiere episode, it didn’t drop the ball (ahem). the first season dragon house There will be a lot more little council scenes in future episodes.
